To Integrate Jira you need 3 main key components.
Host URL from Jira
This URL is located in your browser. Normally looks like this: outcome-ai-team.atlassian.net/ Please do not include ¨https://¨ in the link.
Jira Username
The username is the email you have linked to your Jira account.
API Token
This one is a little tricky. 1. First the Admin account in Jira needs to go to this adress: https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security/api-tokens. 2. Create a new API token: A - Click on Create API token. B - Give your token a descriptive name. We recommend ¨outcome_integration¨ C - Select an expiration date (from 1 to 365 days). We recommend 365 days so you don´t need to go back to activate it so often. D - Click Create. 3. Copy your API token: The token will be displayed only once. Copy it and save it securely. You won’t be able to see it again after closing the dialog. 4. Paste your API token in Outcome AI: Use the token as your password when authenticating the acces to Jira.

Once you complete inputing these 3 things, press ¨Connect¨ to complete the integration. It takes 1-2 minutes to gather the data and start learning from your past (Past projects), present (Actual Sprint) and future (Backlog).
